Delete your account

Delete a Tella Tarot account in the app, or request deletion without app access.

Account deletion is permanent. It removes the account and its credit wallet. It does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

Delete in the app

Sign in to Tella Tarot and open Profile.
Select Delete account.
Read the warning, enter your password to verify ownership and confirm.

Deletion runs through several steps and may need retries. When it completes in the app, saved readings for that account are also removed from that installation's local database.

Request deletion without the app

Email hello@tellatarot.com from the address registered to your account, using the subject “Tella Tarot account deletion request”. This route is available if an age check blocks entry or you no longer have the app. If you cannot access that email address, contact us to discuss another proportionate ownership check.

Do not send your password, tarot questions, card photos or identity documents unsolicited. We may ask for information needed to verify ownership. We handle requests without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, normally one month under the GDPR, and explain any lawful extension. You will receive a response about the outcome.

What is removed

Your sign-in account, including its email address and display name.
The account's credit wallet, associated temporary result copies, relevant usage records and AI reports, including results and reports from linked guest sessions.
The associated RevenueCat customer profile through the deletion workflow, subject to the provider's applicable obligations.
Pending account-email jobs where cancellation is still possible. Emails already delivered cannot be recalled.
When deletion completes inside the app, the account's saved readings and age declaration on that device.

What may remain

Limited purchase, refund, credit-allocation and duplicate-prevention records where needed for validation, disputes or legal record-keeping. Affected purchase ledgers replace the account reference with a pseudonymous reference; this does not make them anonymous.
Necessary security records and information held by providers under their separate retention rules.
Copies on other devices or in operating-system backups, which Tella cannot remotely erase.

The Privacy Policy explains the retention periods and criteria. Contact us about guest-use data or a narrower deletion request; you do not have to delete an account to exercise a privacy right.

Manage billing separately

Cancel an ongoing subscription through Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the account does not itself generate a refund. Applicable refund and consumer rights remain available; contact support about an unresolved purchase or credit issue.
